REASON #2(/100) TO LOVE ARSENAL:
If players give loyalty and love to the club, we give it back. Once a Gooner/Gunner, always one!
REASON #1(/100) TO LOVE ARSENAL:
Samir Nasri’s smile! You can’t deny that his smile and enthusiasm for the sport is infectious.
Screw it, I changed the name of this journal, fixed up the layout, and will probably now start blogging something like “100 reasons to love Arsenal”, because …well, I’m an optimist!
Going to think up 100 reasons now. A++ way to spend the afternoon!
My first - and possibly only - post on this account is just to ask: why the hell are people becoming despondent? I know some of you are expecting the worst just to prepare yourself, but that is no way to live. We ARE still in the running for Premiereship title, we DO still have the ability to play amazing football, and there IS only one Arsenal.
Here are 10 reasons to stop panicking and learn how to love the Arsenal! AKA Why I love Arsenal and why you should as well.
1) The players. They adore each other. Cesc visited Tomas every single day when he was out injured. If they can be that loyal to each other, what’s stopping us from being loyal to them? Sure, a bunch of them screwed up today, but that’s no reason to call them names.

2) Arsene Wenger. Blah blah blah affair, blah blah blah trophyless years, blah blah blah stingy - whatever. Other clubs would kill for a manager like him and you know it. Look at your club, now look at Arsenal. Now at your piling debt, back to Arsenal. Sadly, your manager isn’t Arsene Wenger.

He’s in the stands.
3) The history. Love or hate the expectations that the Invincibles run brought, it still happened. From “boring, boring Arsenal” to the move to the Emirates, you can’t deny that we have a rich history and some fantastic players. We’re constantly building on that history and bringing in exciting new players. It’s fantastic being a part of it all.

4) This BAMF will be back in action soon. Do you want to disappoint him?

5) The Reserves. God, the reserves. We have some amazing, exciting players moving up in the ranks and we have the financial power to buy more (I know, I know, there’s always a huge “if” with Wenger) - but if a title contention doesn’t happen this year, though there’s no reason we don’t stand a chance at this point, I’m willing to be patient. We have a young squad. It takes time.
6) Even though he didn’t play his best against Newcastle, we have our beloved El Capitan. He’s one of a kind.

7) We also have this class act. He’s already being hailed the future of England, has been the hardest working player in most of the recent games, is sturdy, reliable, and exciting to watch - and he’s only 18. Can you imagine what’ll happen when he inevitably IMPROVES with time? God, I can’t wait.

Not to mention players like Samir Nasri, Tomas Rosicky, Theo Walcott, ROBIN VAN PERSIE WHO IS BACK, and a host of other internationals. I know, talent doesn’t necessarily mean winning games - but the talent is there in spades. There is hope.
8) No, seriously. OUR TEAM LOVES EACH OTHER. Can you see a team like Manchester City doing the same sort of group huddle before a game? [[imagine a gif here but the internet is being stupid]] Or pumping themselves up by having a naked dance party in the dressing room beforehand (oh god scarred for life)? DOES ANY OTHER TEAM HAVE EBOUE? I think not.
9) Our crest has a fucking cannon on it. We’re going to blow our opponents out of the water.
10) Finally, THERE IS ONLY ONE ARSENAL. If our fans don’t have faith - who will?

We have the drive, the ability, the stamina, the heart, the intelligence, the money, the fans, and the talent to win this fucking Premiereship. It just all needs to come together. But - and here’s the important thing - we need to be there for the players if it doesn’t. It’s a walk in the park to support a team who’s winning everything, but your true colors don’t show until they lose.
Let’s be optimistic for once. Let’s put the past few losses behind us - but learn from the mistakes - and kick some Premiere League ass.
GO GUNNERS!
